baby it's cold outside

for the first time in a very long time, i am happy. i absolutely adore living in new york. i love the people, i love the environment, i love the culture. i love walking everywhere. i love taking the subway to work. i love seeing people on the street all the time. i just love everything about it. i am so happy with the decision i made.

i had my first official day at work today. i had an amazing time. i couldn't ask for a better first job in the real world. i will say that it was bizarre to walk through times sqaure and NOT be a tourist. i got off the subway at 42nd street and was like "shouldn't i be going to the theater? oh wait, its 9:30 am..." weird. the view from my office is just incredible.

and it's snowing. not just flakes on the ground, but actually snow that is sticking to the ground. it's cold and slushy and gross outside, but i am still so happy to be here.

if only my stupid sinus infection and toe would get better....
