why do all good things come to an end?
it took me 4 years of college and a year of grad school to realize that being at home aint so bad. tonight i watched "factory girl" with roseanne at my new house (move in day: next thursday!) and we got kind of emotional. no, not because of the movie (which was really not all that good, but an acid trippy movie), but because this summer is really the last time we can do shit like this. the thing is, roseanne and i had made plans to live together after we graduated. but after a year of planning, we both realized we need to go to different cities for our jobs. new york is really the city to find a job for marketing, and la is the place to find a job filming. so here we are... two friends whose intentions to live together are busted and will now be living coast to coast. so thats why we got kinda sad. no more sitting at my house eating chocolate and watching bad movies till three am. no more drive in double feature movies. no more dinners where we act like complete assholes and the entire restaurant stares at us. but that's all part of growing up, right?
so i've got to enjoy it while it lasts... and remember that good times that lie ahead.

ps. OMG, IT'S ALMOST HARRY POTTER DAY.... i guess i will never grow up...
